ABOUT JOJO BARKERY
As more people strive to eat healthier, lower-fat, and more natural foods, we began to notice something often overlooked—many dog treats are still filled with unnecessary additives and preservatives.
Wanting better for Jojo, I started making fresh, additive-free treats at home during my free time. Using a low-temperature, slow-baking process, I carefully prepare each batch to ensure safety, preserve nutrients, and keep every ingredient as pure as possible.
One day, during a casual dog walk with friends, I shared some of these homemade treats with Jojo’s friend, Sticky Rice. Sticky Rice loved them so much that her mom asked if we could make an extra batch each time—and happily offered to support us by purchasing them.
As lifelong shelter volunteers, my friends and I have often wondered how we could better improve the lives of animals in shelters. We regularly help care for local stray animals, and each day we see dogs in shelters begging for food between meals. Many are fed very small portions of overly concentrated food, rather than larger servings of balanced, nourishing meals.
This experience inspired us to turn something small into something meaningful—by selling our dog treats and donating a portion of the proceeds to help abandoned dogs and cats in need.
Our journey has only just begun, but our love for animals is endless. Every treat we make carries care, compassion, and the hope of giving more animals a chance at a better life.
